In 2021, the Miss Guadalupe International Organization acquired the Miss Universe license to send its only representative to the Miss Universe pageant. The delegates will compete as “Miss Universe Sin Marteen & Guadaloupe” in the pageant. This year, for the first time, the organization appointed Danitzia Logis as Miss Universe Sint Marteen and Guadeloupe 2021.
Living in Sainte-Anne, Grande Terre, the 20-year-old beauty queen studied management economics at the University of the West Indies in 2019 and now she is pursuing a master’s degree in commerce at TBS Education in Toulouse, France. She is one of the young Guadeloupeans with a business project participating in the “Mon île, mon territoire” competition, which will give personalized support and financial support of up to € 5,000 each to 10 selected projects, which will be announced in November 2021. She wants to create her own brand of period panties with a Caribbean touch.
Danitzia is not a newbie to pageantry. In July 2017, she was crowned Miss Jeunesse Guadeloupe 2017. On August 3, 2019, she competed at Miss Guadeloupe 2019. She finished as second runner-up, losing to first runner-up Villynda Michèle and titleholder Clémence Botino, who went on to win Miss France 2020 and will represent France at Miss Universe 2021.
