Jade Cini was crowned Miss Universe Malta 2021 at the end of the gala, held on September 17, 2021 at the Hilton Malta Conference Centre in St. Julian’s, Malta. The 26-year-old representative of Valletta beaten 23 others candidates to win the title and to succeed Miss Universe Malta 2020 Anthea Zammit. In December 2021, she will represent Malta at Miss Universe 2021 in Eilat, Israel.
After being crowned as Miss Universe Malta 2021, Jade took to her social media to share her joy.

Hailing from Valletta, she is a primary school teacher with a passion for education and travelling. She has been modelling since she was 3 years old. Beauty pageants have given her the confidence required to have a career and enter other fields of dancing, singing and acting. It has also helped her stay resilient when faced with bullying, failures and criticism.
Not a newbie in pageantry, she started joining beauty pageants in 1998. She was Miss Malta 2013 and competed against 58 other candidates atMiss Intercontinental 2013 at the Maritim Hall of Maritim Hotel Madgeburg in Magdeburg, Germany. She was unplaced. Then, she have participated in several international pageant, including Miss Model of the World 2015 (where she finished in the Top 17), Best Model of the World 2015 (where she won as the Best Model of the Mediterranean 2015), and Top Model of the World 2016, Miss Universe has always been Jade’s dream.
On October 16, 2016, she represented Malta again and competed against 62 other candidates at Miss Intercontinental 2016 at the Stein Studios in Colombo, Sri Lanka. She was unplaced. She was runner-up to Miss World Malta 2016 Anthea Zammit, who later became Miss Universe Malta 2020.
