Jo Judnick-Wilson was crowned Mrs South Africa 2022 at Emperors Palace on November 26, 2021. Beating 24 others beauty queens, she succeeds Mrs South Africa 2021, Thenjiwe Mduli for this crown and will represent her country at the next edition of Mrs World later in 2022.
The 40-year-old beauty queen, known as “JoziMom”, is the mom of two, and works as an entrepreneur, avid photographer and content creator with a Bachelors degree in Communication Science. She also is the founder of “Build Her Tomorrow”. In her spare time, she likes to be creative. After her crowning, she write on her social media : “I’m always inspired by a new challenge. You will either find me amidst a home DIY project; with sand under my fingernails in the garden landscaping; paint brush and watercolour set in hand, creating art or studying and mastering a new skill set. A trip to the bushveld is my favourite kind of ‘soul food’. My family has always been my number one priority and our motto is ‘Life is an adventure or nothing at all’“.
The 2021 Mrs South Africa’s court includes Roxy van Bruwaene and Michelle Forsyth as first and second princess, respectively.
