Lorena Rodrigues was crowned Miss Grand Brazil 2021, at the end of the private ceremony held on June 25, 2021 and webcasted by Grand TV. She succeeded Lalá Guedes, 4th runner-up of Miss Grand International 2021 and will represent her country at the upcoming edition of Miss Grand International later this year.
Lorena, 26 years-old, believed that her pageantry career was over, when the pandemic began. After her victory, she shared her joy on her social media and explained to F5 media: “It’s hasn’t actually fallen right yet, but I’m very happy. After six tries in beauty contests and almost the age limit, I thought I had retired from this world of beautyand I started looking for other directions“
“I was looking for options and stuying for public tender when the invitation came up, by surprise. I evaluated a little and felt that my heart was asking me to embark on this journey” she says.
Hailing from the city of Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, the beauty queen graduated in Journalism and Arts & Design. She is model since she was 10 years old. She is a strong contender and has always had great results in the contests in which she participated in the last decade. She has studied Miss Grand a lot when she competed in Minas Gerais in 2019 and she is ready to make a great performance on this stage.
