Chantel O’Brian was crowned Miss Universe Bahamas 2021 during the finals held October 3 at the Rosewood Baha Mar. She will represent the nation at the 70th Miss Universe competition in Eilat, Israel in December. She succeeds 2020 winner Shauntae Miller.

The 27-year-old beauty queen is motivational speaker, model, and entrepreneur. She obtained a bachelor of administration in business enterprise from the Edinburgh Napier University in Scotland in November 2019. From December 2016 to December 2019, she worked for Aliv in the Bahamas as a social media coordinator. In February 2018, she founded P.S. O’Brian Consulting. Based in Nassau, the company offers several services including social business coaching, etiquette coaching, pageant training and social media management.
O’Brian is no stranger to pageantry. In 2015, she won Miss World Bahamas on her third try and went on to represent the Bahamas at the Miss World 2015 finals in China.
