Elizabeth Bagaya, the first runner-up at the 2020 Miss Uganda pageant, has been appointed as Uganda’s representative to the 70th Miss World contest to be held in December in Puerto Rico. The announcement was made by Miss Uganda organization on its social media. Elizabeth Bagaya took to her official social media to reveal her joy in a post captioned.

Bagaya is a 26-year-old make-up artist and mental health advocate. She holds a bachelor’s degree in human resource management. Bagaya was also running her Bagaya Elizabeth Foundation that helps to extend financial and mental support to children at Butabika Hospital. In April, Bagaya took over the duties of Miss Uganda 2020-21 after titleholder Oliver Nakakande was away to pursue her studies.
