Essi Unkuri was crowned Miss Suomi 2021 (aka Miss Finland 2021 or Miss Universe Finland 2021) at the end of the finals, held September 18 at the AlfaTV, in Kerava, while que Emilia Lepomäki won the title of Miss World Finland 2021. They beaten 6 other beautiful girls for their title.

Hailing from Vaasa, the 23-year-old model and entrepreneur succeeds Miss Suomi/Miss Universe Finland 2020 Viivi Altonen and will represent the nation at the 70th Miss Universe competition in Eilat, Israel in December. She also bagged the Audience’s Favorite award. She shares her joy on her instagram after her crowning.

Essi Unkuri is a Finnish entrepreneur, actor and a television presenter who bested nine other contestants to win the national crown. Unkuri hails from Vaasa, Finland and has completed her studies from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences. She is an experienced content designer and is skilled in MailChimp, Twitter, Microsoft Word, Advertising and Instagram Marketing.
No stranger to pageants, Unkuri previously competed in Miss Suomi 2017 and was also named the audience’s favorite.

1st runner-up – Emmi Suuronen
2nd runner-up – Sonja Länsivuori
Eveliina Tikka was named Media’s Favorite.
Miss World Finland 2021
Former Miss Earth Finland, Emilia Lepomäki was crowned Miss World Finland 2021. The 23-year-old model succeeds Miss World Finland 2019 Dana Mononen and will head on to represent Finland at the 70th Miss World contest to be held in December in Puerto Rico.
She loves sports, particularly the Finnish baseball Pesäpallo. Emilia hails from Pori, Finland, Lepomäki and currently resides in Espoo, Finland. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Laurea University of Applied Sciences in Vantaa.
Not new to the pageantry, Emilia competed at Miss Suomi 2018 where she was a semi-finalist. She competed at Miss Eloveena 2019 and was a finalist. In 2019, she competed at Miss Europe Continental Finland 2019 where she finished as the first runner-up and was crowned Miss Eco International Finland 2020.
In 2019, she competed at Miss Tampere 2019. She was first runner-up. In 2020, she was crowned Miss Earth Finland 2020 and represented Finland at Miss Earth 2020, which was held virtually. She was unplaced. In 2021, she represented Finland at Miss Eco International 2021 and competed against 38 other candidates at Baron Resort Sharm El Sheikh in Nasrany, Sharm El-Sheikh, South Sinai, South Sinai Governorate, Egypt. She was unplaced.
