Ora Antonia Ivaniševic was crowned Miss Universe Croatia 2021 at the end of the finals, held on 14th July 2021 at the Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb, Croatia. She succeeded Miss Universe Croatia 2020 Mirna Naiia Maric for the title. She earned the opportunity to represent Croatia at the upcoming edition of the Miss Universe pageant, whose date and venue are not yet known.
The 20-year-old beauty queen is a student of tourism management at Rochester Institute of Technology hailing from Dubrovnik. She also works as a private makeup artist and hairstylist. She volunteers at a Down Syndrome Association’s home. She speaks Croatian, English, and Russian fluently.
Ora played volleyball professionally for 12 years and participated in major international competitions. She has a great love for art: she is known in her city for her paintings, and in her free time she likes to write novels and poems. She believes she will one day run her own hotel or be an excellent artist and bestseller writer.
As Miss Universe Croatia, she wants to advocate for equal opportunities for advancement in business for women and men. She believes that the biggest challenge of the modern age is for women to be able to come to the “big” table on their own. She wants to be a spokesperson and ambassador for all those women who have never had enough respect for themselves, their education and their body. that it is possible.
